MLE 1935: Robert Cameron

Designed By: Robert Cameron

“This carpet was designed as a tribute to possibly the most talented ironworker of the 20th century, Edgar Brandt. Known for intricate decorative screens, ornate chandeliers and iconic sculptures prior to World War I, when Edgar’s talents were put to use as a prolific weapons designer. The MLE 1935 was one of his most successful; an indirect fire weapon that was copied throughout and subsequent to World War II. The MLE 1935 carpet was designed for a home office/study which is clad in solid Wenge wood from Africa, custom artwork and of course a stunning chandelier with matching sconces, signed E. Brandt.”
